Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Now How Will We... by Jon Pylypchuk was sold in the First Open auction at Christies in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,536.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jon Pylypchuk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You), which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,390.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Now How Will We... von Jon Pylypchuk wurde im März 2014 in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.536,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jon Pylypchuk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You) beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.390,09) versteigert wurde.
