Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I have one day to live This is the loneliest moment by Jon Pylypchuk was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,246.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jon Pylypchuk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,390.09).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.246,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jon Pylypchuk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.390,09).
