This work without title by John Walker was sold in the New Now Day Sale auction at Phillips in New York in February 2016. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,600.66), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Walker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Oceania III, which sold at auction in November 2000 for USD 9,987.50 (€ 11,487.81).

Für andere Arbeiten von John Walker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Oceania III beobachtet, die im November 2000 für USD 9.987,50 (€ 11.487,81) versteigert wurde.
