Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work One second drawing (01" 0913; Zeittakt 1 : 5). by John Latham was auctioned at VAN HAM in June 2019. Here, the estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,354.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Latham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych 1954 in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 100,688.02).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit One second drawing (01" 0913; Zeittakt 1 : 5). von John Latham kam im Juni 2019 bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.354,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Latham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triptych 1954 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 100.688,02).
