A top price for John Latham - as previously expected
The work Triptych 1954 by John Latham was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2008. The price achieved of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 100,688.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Triptych 1954 is the most expensive artwork by John Latham that we have observed at auctions so far.
