This work without title by John Latham was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,052.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Latham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych 1954 in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 100,688.02).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von John Latham kam im September 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.052,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Latham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triptych 1954 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 100.688,02).
