Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Heads (Room Background) by John Davies was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in July 2015. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,670.66). Other works by John Davies have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,940.70) in July 2008 for the work Brown Painted Head.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.670,66) einen neuen Besitzer.
