Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Into Me by Joe Reihsen was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2019. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,757.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Reihsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Destruction probable but not guaranteed in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,917.94).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Into Me von Joe Reihsen wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.757,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Reihsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Destruction probable but not guaranteed im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.917,94).
