Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Like Your Life Depends On It, Because It Does by Joe Reihsen was sold in the Heatwave: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,477.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Reihsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Destruction probable but not guaranteed in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,917.94).
