This artwork by Joe Bradley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Dutch sold for USD 226,800.00 (€ 207,920.79) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Bradley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tres Hombres in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,913,274.00).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joe Bradley erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Dutch für USD 226.800,00 (€ 207.920,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Bradley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tres Hombres im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.913.274,00).
