Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Little Man by Joe Bradley was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 138,600.00 (€ 127,483.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Bradley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tres Hombres in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,913,274.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Little Man von Joe Bradley wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 127.483,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Bradley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tres Hombres im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.913.274,00).
