Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marina by Joaquín Clausell was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 71,756.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joaquín Clausell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bosque , which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45).
