Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jarrón con flores (Homenaje a Vincent Van Gogh) by Joaquín Clausell was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 92,500.00 (€ 64,343.35). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joaquín Clausell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bosque , which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jarrón con flores (Homenaje a Vincent Van Gogh) von Joaquín Clausell wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 92.500,00 (€ 64.343,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Joaquín Clausell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bosque beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 212.500,00 (€ 178.601,45) versteigert wurde.
