The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 30,745.58), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Joaquín Clausell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bosque in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 30.745,58) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joaquín Clausell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bosque im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 178.601,45).
