Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joaquín Clausell could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Sale Day Session auction, the work Untitled (Landscape) changed hands for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,893.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joaquín Clausell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bosque in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45).
