Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Loose Of Net #2 by Jiro Takamatsu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 112,500.00 (€ 91,314.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jiro Takamatsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shadow No. 1391 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 538,000.00 (€ 508,602.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Loose Of Net #2 von Jiro Takamatsu kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 91.314,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiro Takamatsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shadow No. 1391 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 538.000,00 (€ 508.602,76).
