Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shadow of a Woman Standing by Jiro Takamatsu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 329,095.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,200,000.00 – 4,200,000.00. Other works by Jiro Takamatsu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work Shadow No. 1391 was auctioned for USD 538,000.00 (€ 508,602.76).

Die Arbeit Shadow of a Woman Standing von Jiro Takamatsu kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 329.095,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.200.000,00 – 4.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jiro Takamatsu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2016 die Arbeit Shadow No. 1391 für USD 538.000,00 (€ 508.602,76) versteigert.
