Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Space on the Plane by Jiro Takamatsu was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jiro Takamatsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shadow No. 1391 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 538,000.00 (€ 508,602.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Space on the Plane von Jiro Takamatsu wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiro Takamatsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shadow No. 1391 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 538.000,00 (€ 508.602,76).
