Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Niño Con Guitarra by Jesús Guerrero Galván. It changed hands for a price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,247.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jesús Guerrero Galván have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Concepción in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Niño Con Guitarra von Jesús Guerrero Galván zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.247,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 16.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jesús Guerrero Galván auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Concepción im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
