Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Jesús Guerrero Galván for USD 23,750.00 (€ 22,452.26). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jesús Guerrero Galván have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Concepción in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).
