In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Swans by Jessie Arms Botke. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,200.00 (€ 3,028.01), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessie Arms Botke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flamingos and Tropical Birds in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 121,434.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swans von Jessie Arms Botke zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.200,00 (€ 3.028,01) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessie Arms Botke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flamingos and Tropical Birds im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 121.434,25).
