The work Sunflowers by Jessie Arms Botke was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,793.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessie Arms Botke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flamingos and Tropical Birds in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 121,434.25).

Die Arbeit Sunflowers von Jessie Arms Botke wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.793,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessie Arms Botke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flamingos and Tropical Birds im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 121.434,25).
