Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Geese in a Fantasy Landscape by Jessie Arms Botke. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,322.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessie Arms Botke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flamingos and Tropical Birds in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 121,434.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geese in a Fantasy Landscape von Jessie Arms Botke zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.462,50 (€ 4.322,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessie Arms Botke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flamingos and Tropical Birds im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 121.434,25).
