Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #38 (Rooftop with Spotlight) by Jeff Burton was sold in the Saturday@Phillips auction at Phillips in New York in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 1,375.00 (€ 883.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Jeff Burton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea) in March 2010 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,332.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #38 (Rooftop with Spotlight) von Jeff Burton wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 883,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeff Burton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea) im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.332,95).
