Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in New York held the auction on paper | online, which included the work Untitled #65 (Brass Cat) by Jeff Burton. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,826.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeff Burton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea), which sold at auction in March 2010 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,332.95).
