Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled,1996 by Jeff Burton was auctioned at Bonhams in Brussels in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 614.40 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Jeff Burton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea) in March 2010 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,332.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled,1996 von Jeff Burton kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Brüssel zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 614,40 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeff Burton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea) im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.332,95).
