Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #133 (reclining nude woman) by Jeff Burton was auctioned at Christies in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,925.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeff Burton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea), which sold at auction in March 2010 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,332.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #133 (reclining nude woman) von Jeff Burton kam im Oktober 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.925,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeff Burton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea) beobachtet, die im März 2010 für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.332,95) versteigert wurde.
