Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled#169 (Basketball) by Jeff Burton for GBP 625.00 (€ 724.38). This price was achieved in the auction Erotic Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jeff Burton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea) in March 2010 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,332.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled#169 (Basketball) von Jeff Burton für GBP 625,00 (€ 724,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Erotic Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeff Burton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea) im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.332,95).
