A top price for Jeff Brouws - as previously expected
In October 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) by Jeff Brouws. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,754.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) is the most expensive artwork by Jeff Brouws that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) von Jeff Brouws zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.754,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jeff Brouws, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
