Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Bonhams in New York held the auction Stonewall@50 Photographs Online, which included the work Car In Landscape, Montana by Jeff Brouws. The price achieved of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,145.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jeff Brouws have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,754.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Stonewall@50 Photographs Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Car In Landscape, Montana von Jeff Brouws zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.145,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeff Brouws auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.754,39).
