Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Motel Parking Lot, Reno, Nevada by Jeff Brouws. The price achieved of USD 1,200.00 (€ 897.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Brouws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,754.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Motel Parking Lot, Reno, Nevada von Jeff Brouws zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.200,00 (€ 897,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeff Brouws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Partially Painted Pickup Trucks (From American Typologies) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.754,39).
