In April 2016 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art including École de Paris 1905-1939, which included the work Paysage by Jean Hugo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,080.00 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Métamorphoses in April 2012 with an auction result of EUR 69,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art including École de Paris 1905-1939 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Jean Hugo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.080,00 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Métamorphoses im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.400,00.
