Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Quatre maquettes de décors pour ''Les Amours de Jupiter'' by Jean Hugo for EUR 1,638.00. This price was achieved in the auction Roland Petit & Zizi Jeanmaire : Un patrimoine pour la danse at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Métamorphoses in April 2012 with an auction result of EUR 69,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Quatre maquettes de décors pour ''Les Amours de Jupiter'' von Jean Hugo für EUR 1.638,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Roland Petit & Zizi Jeanmaire : Un patrimoine pour la danse bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Métamorphoses im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.400,00.
