Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le Parc Monceau by Jean Béraud was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 225,000.00 (€ 198,710.59). Admittedly, works by Jean Béraud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French bois De Boulogne in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,810,000.00 (€ 1,625,505.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Parc Monceau von Jean Béraud kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 225.000,00 (€ 198.710,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Béraud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French bois De Boulogne im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.810.000,00 (€ 1.625.505,16).
