Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jean Béraud could be acquired at Bonhams in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Home & InteriorsCollections auction, the work Une elegante Parisienne changed hands for USD 14,025.00 (€ 12,703.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Béraud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French bois De Boulogne in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,810,000.00 (€ 1,625,505.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Béraud konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections wechselte die Arbeit Une elegante Parisienne für USD 14.025,00 (€ 12.703,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Béraud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French bois De Boulogne im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.810.000,00 (€ 1.625.505,16).
