Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Scène de rue Parisienne by Jean Béraud was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2021. The result of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 119,279.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Béraud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French bois De Boulogne in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,810,000.00 (€ 1,625,505.16).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Scène de rue Parisienne von Jean Béraud wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 119.279,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Béraud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French bois De Boulogne im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.810.000,00 (€ 1.625.505,16).
