This artwork by Jason Brooks achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2013. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) auction, the work Margarita sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,683.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jason Brooks; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sassy sold at auction in October 2011 with the realized price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,719.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jason Brooks erzielte im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) wurde die Arbeit Margarita für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.683,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jason Brooks; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sassy im Oktober 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.719,29).
