Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Robert by Jason Brooks. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,881.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jason Brooks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sassy, which sold at auction in October 2011 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,719.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Robert von Jason Brooks zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.881,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jason Brooks mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sassy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.719,29) versteigert wurde.
