The work Full House by Jane Hammond was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in March 2020. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,720.10), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jane Hammond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Malcolm Wright Vase With Dogwood, Ocotillo And Orioles in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,699.32).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Full House von Jane Hammond wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.720,10) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jane Hammond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Malcolm Wright Vase With Dogwood, Ocotillo And Orioles im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.699,32).
