Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Untitled (yellow lily) by Jane Hammond. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,304.45). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jane Hammond - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Malcolm Wright Vase With Dogwood, Ocotillo And Orioles, which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,699.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (yellow lily) von Jane Hammond zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.304,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jane Hammond mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Malcolm Wright Vase With Dogwood, Ocotillo And Orioles beobachtet, die im März 2019 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.699,32) versteigert wurde.
