Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Nude in a Landscape) by Jan Müller was sold in the Open House auction at Christies in New York in January 2009. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,857.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Müller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Virgins in November 2002 with an auction result of USD 53,775.00 (€ 54,143.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Nude in a Landscape) von Jan Müller wurde im Januar 2009 in der Auktion Open House bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.857,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Müller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Virgins im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.775,00 (€ 54.143,17).
