Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2013 Christies in New York held the auction First Open: Summer Edition, which included the work Communal Flowers by Jan Müller. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,235.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Müller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Virgins in November 2002 with an auction result of USD 53,775.00 (€ 54,143.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open: Summer Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Communal Flowers von Jan Müller zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.235,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Müller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Virgins im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.775,00 (€ 54.143,17).
