In the Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Live Sale auction, the work Untitled (White House, Provincetown) sold for USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,501.89) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Müller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Virgins, which sold at auction in November 2002 for USD 53,775.00 (€ 54,143.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Müller erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Live Sale wurde die Arbeit Untitled (White House, Provincetown) für USD 25.000,00 (€ 20.501,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Müller mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Virgins beobachtet, die im November 2002 für USD 53.775,00 (€ 54.143,17) versteigert wurde.
