Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Cupolas by Jan Dibbets was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,327.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Dibbets achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Cupolas von Jan Dibbets kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.327,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Dibbets erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
