Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Last Resort by Jamian Juliano-Villani was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2021. It achieved a price of USD 81,900.00 (€ 72,561.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Jamian Juliano-Villani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heat Wave in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 342,171.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Last Resort von Jamian Juliano-Villani kam im November 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 72.561,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jamian Juliano-Villani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heat Wave im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 342.171,67).
