Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work Golden Girl by Jamian Juliano-Villani. It changed hands for a price of HKD 453,600.00 (€ 55,199.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jamian Juliano-Villani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heat Wave in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 342,171.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Golden Girl von Jamian Juliano-Villani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 453.600,00 (€ 55.199,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jamian Juliano-Villani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heat Wave im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 342.171,67).
