Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Double Dose by Jamian Juliano-Villani was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 35,280.00 (€ 36,062.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jamian Juliano-Villani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heat Wave in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 342,171.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Double Dose von Jamian Juliano-Villani wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.280,00 (€ 36.062,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jamian Juliano-Villani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heat Wave im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 342.171,67).
