The work Red Square by Jamian Juliano-Villani was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 478,800.00 (€ 56,843.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Jamian Juliano-Villani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heat Wave in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 342,171.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red Square von Jamian Juliano-Villani kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 478.800,00 (€ 56.843,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jamian Juliano-Villani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heat Wave im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 342.171,67).
