The work Glacier 5 by James Tower was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,174.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Tower - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ribbed Chest Form, which sold at auction in September 2018 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,674.30).

Die Arbeit Glacier 5 von James Tower kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.174,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von James Tower mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ribbed Chest Form beobachtet, die im September 2018 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.674,30) versteigert wurde.
