Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled; and Untitled by Jacqueline Humphries was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,339.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacqueline Humphries achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 687,500.00 (€ 609,107.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled; and Untitled von Jacqueline Humphries kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.339,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacqueline Humphries erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 687.500,00 (€ 609.107,82).
